Background to the group.

Following a survey of local teenagers about ramp facilities, carried out by PKC's Youth Enquiry Service in 1998, several meeetings were held in early 1999 to formally establish a youth group. Agreeing on a name, aims and structure, our constitution and charitable status were recognised by the Inland Revenue in July 1999. We're run by young people for young people. We have had help from the Crieff Youth Enquiry Service - they given us a place to meet, help in planning events, help with applications for funding and the use of their facilities (e.g. photocopying, phone and computer facilities).

Events we've run.

Members organised a fund-raising disco in Scorpio's.

A sponsored parachute jump was done to fundraise for the group.

Visits we've done.

10 members of the group went to Livingstone Skate Park to try out (and photograph) the bowls and ramps. Minibus courtesy of PKC. Photos will be put up soon.

Our Funding.

We have raised funds from activities, a grant from Millenium Volunteers Grant Scheme and funds from the 'Awards for All' scheme.
